When I went to by Feedly today to see what posts were ready for me to read by the bloggers I follow these three were right in a row.
- The Impact of Age on Happiness, Especially in Times of Crisis by Chris Guillebeau. Check out the chart. See where age 45 is? I'm hoping that in my personal life my chart starts having an upswing at this age and I don't have to wail until my 50s.
- Go for a Walk by Seth Godin. I know to do this. I know it's good for me. Why don't we do more of what's good for us?
- This Was a Good Week by Karen Walrond. I so enjoy her Friday posts. She finds the best stuff on the internet. Be sure and click her link for what happens to soap bubbles when they freeze and watch the video at the end of Playing for Change.
Have you been following my #countdownto45 on Instagram? Some mornings I wake up and immediately know what the word is going to be. Sometimes I base it on what's going on in the world like this one. And some mornings I consult a list of words. I have lost of favorite words. Findings sand tray toys and figures to fit them is another story.
Yesterday my husband and I and some friends took a tour of our local Boys and Girls Club. If I didn't need to work, I swear I'd be volunteering there all the time.
Please check out my birthday campaign for Charity Water. And give. As little as $5. Every little bit helps. And if I raise very little that would be extremely embarrassing, wouldn't it?
We've got graduation at the college tomorrow so I'll be getting my academic on, mortarboard and all.
Here's to a very happy weekend!
